Strains Sourced
At SunClone, we’re proud to provide an expansive selection of the highest-quality cannabis strains from around the world. All of our cultivars are carefully sourced from our network of trusted growing partners, to ensure that each strain meets our stringent standards for quality and consistency. Our collection spans a wide variety of types, from classic favorites to unique new hybrids. We have something for everyone. The Mother Stock
SunClone uses an innovative strategy dedicated to growing top-quality strains. Our main greenhouse features a 12,000 sq. ft. space with a black-out system, irrigation system, and dehumidifier. This greenhouse houses 1200 mothers that always get at least 18 hours of daylight. During the summer, the plants can be watered once a day, in the winter, only 2 to 3 times a week.
Cloning Cannabis
At SunClone, we are passionate about creating beautiful and healthy plants. Our team of experienced cloning specialists are well-versed in the process of cloning and take pride in producing plants of the highest standard. Our cloning process requires many steps and our team is well-trained in taking cuts and pruning the mother plants to ensure their health. The team is also trained to assess the structural quality and viability of the cuttings. We are passionate about our work and make sure to provide our customers with the best plants possible. We understand how important it is to have healthy and strong plants for any home and garden. We strive to provide our customers with the best quality plants possible.
Propagation For Healthy Roots
As we near the end of the working day, all cuttings are transferred to our custom retrofitted propagation boxes. Or propagation boxes are really the womb of production at the nursery. It is where cuttings become their own live plants. The propagation boxes provide a consistent and controlled environment for delicate cuttings. Clones live in our propagation area for 2 weeks, then are sent to transplanting once they are ready.
Planting the Clone Starts
First, we load the back-end conveyors with empty pots and trays. 18 pots to a tray. They will continue down the line, which is controlled by the operator at the front with a foot petal. The empty trays will go onto the flat filling machine and come out to the other end filled with soil. The press at the end of the machine creates a void in the middle of each pot, just the right size for a pellet to fit. The transplanters then fill each tray with rooted pellets and cover them with soil. The new transplants will continue down the line until they are relocated to their new location on the shelves under 18 hr grow lights.
The Clone Greenhouse
Pot filing, transplanting, and clone vegetative space are all located in the same area. The clones are stored on shelving units with lights. When we have the space to allocate, orders will be pulled together into one area so that they can be closely monitored and cared for while they are waiting for their delivery date. This is also where the plants are prepped before delivery and packed for shipping.
Hoop Houses
At SunClone, we strive to provide every customer with the best quality clones. We have a variety of greenhouses that are designed to maximize growth and yields for our customers. Our main greenhouses are spacious and equipped with the latest technology, giving us the ability to customize the environment for each crop. Across the way from our mother and clone greenhouses, we also have smaller greenhouse spaces for additional orders, overflow inventory, and for the new and upcoming moms to veg out. The 5 hoop houses are each 100 ft long, and about 10 ft wide, with lights, spaced out about every 12 ft. Our greenhouses are climate-controlled and are equipped with air circulation fans, irrigation systems, and environmental sensors to ensure the perfect environment for plants to thrive. Our greenhouses allow us to extend the growing season.
